Weather Report – Bundeskunsthalle Bonn

Innovative universal means to explain weather and climate change

The exhibition “Weather Forecast” (from October 2017 to March 2018) in the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn takes us on an interdisciplinary journey through the weather phenomena. Visitors wander on a complete weather day through the exhibition, experiencing a wide range of phenomena explicited by both arts and science. It spans from early morning fog over sun to rain and in the middle of the museum, even, to a hurricane. In addition, there are curiosities : peasant wisdoms and ancient myths. Guise’s Familistere – a comprehensive accessibility chain project

Guise’s Familistère is a complex of buildings built by the manufacturer and utopian socialist Jean-Baptiste André Godin in the mid-19th century. It is considered as one of the first (if not the first) social housing construction at all. The design solutions imagined were used more than 50 years later by architects such as Le Corbusier.
